About Indie Film LA
Our Vision
INDIE FILM LA is a collaboration between several major film festivals, industry meetups, cinemas and distribution companies in Southern California. It's an inclusive community-focused space, designed to screen new work, of both new and established filmmakers.
We hold several screening events every month in the heart of Los Angeles, in our luxurious state of the art cinema. Short films are submitted through FILMFREEWAY. At each event filmmakers have the opportunity to discuss their work with other creatives, getting immediate and essential feedback while networking in our lounge and theatre afterwards.
About Indie Film LA
Our Story
Over the years, at several of our partner film festivals, many filmmakers expressed a need to screen their work, both completed and WIP, prior to submitting to festivals. They wanted to screen their work to fellow filmmakers and get much needed feedback. They wanted to "road test" their work, so-to-speak. And so INDIE FILM LA was born.
Our Programming
To have your work screened simply submit through FILMFREEWAY. It's entirely FREE. We select programs of films to screen throughout each month. We have 2 luxurious state of the art theaters. Once selected we send you all the screening details. All entrants must be able and willing to attend their particular screening in Los Angeles.
